I was contacted about a work from home position. Said I would be great for the position but when l questioned the validity of the print your own check, I was chastised for negativity. My bank could NOT verify the account after several tries. Always question and research any company that seems too good to be true.

Why do you let supervisor discrimate against employees basised on health issues and color. My daughter works there and her supervisor will not take the notes from the doctors and tells her she is lying about medical issues then threatens her job. She calls her the white Arin which as a supervisor myself is inappropriate. The constant threatening her job is ridiculous. You need to get your supervisors in check especially Jackie over third shift credit card in Sumter SC before yall end up getting sued for her lack of training and stupidity.

Defamation in the work place.

I formally worked for Sykes in Montgomery, Alabama. I started late 2019 and quit early 2020.

Reason being, was because when I was upstairs on the clock Sheila Robinson, the person who was over the entire building walked up to me and told me that she heard I had sex with a married man in the breastfeeding room and if she found out it was true once they rolled the cameras back, that I would be terminated. She then proceeded to tell me this person's wife was in the hospital having a baby. Then walked off.

A few days later, she saw me in the lobby and walked up to me and apologized. Because the accusations were false.

Throughout the duration of the 3 years of me leaving, TLs and SCAs have messaged me mentioning the rumors. Asking me about them. It's embarrassing and it's not true. It's tormenting.

I spoke to a lawyer to see what my options were, and I was told the statement below.

The statute of limitations for libel/ slander is two years from the date of the false statement.

If false statements are still being made, then you're within the statute. If no statement has been made in the last two years, then you are not within the statute. The date you quit is not the determining factor.

This is defamation of character.

It's tiring. Just received an update, and I was told Sheila was fired over a year ago.

There was a post by someone on Facebook marketing Sykes and their need for more remote employees. I responded with interested. I was soon contacted by a Carri McCoy that directed me to download Google chat to be contacted by the hiring manager Caryl Cara. I knew it had to be a scam I have screen shots.

Someone posted on fb about a data entry and or customer service job. I replied. She sent me to telegram to talk to the hiring manager. I told him to call me. He called. Rushed me off the phone and said not to worry. It's legit company. I continued answering his questions on telegram and gave him my personal info. Than he said something about a check I printed out and deposited into my bank. And how I got to keep 50 of it for a sign on bonus. I knew it was a load of crap by then. So I searched online only to find similar situations. These people are scamming left and right.

So Im an employee and I had computer issues that resulted in me having to have a different computer sent to me from Denver so another agent got paid for her issues until she got her equipment from Denver but they are refusing to pay me akd me and this agent started at the same time and do not have PTO time . So Ive demanded my pay the time Ive been off ! They still have refused so Im going to move forward with contacting the labor board!

Not being paid for my time off for their computer messing up

So my computer messed up on me Tuesday and I took it to site which is over an hour away to drive and they said it can not be fixed that I have to have one sent to me by mail . So they are suppose to pay me for the time Im off waiting on the computer but they are refusing to do so.. I have called corporate and they said they should pay me that my TL should take care of it but nothing has happened. Other agents that started when I did have also been paid for their time they had off waiting ! So Im getting a lawyer to get this resolved!!

I am an employee of Sykes and all I can say is while I was in training it was very fun and had a great time but once you are on the calls its a whole different ball game . The trainer is parcel to some employees verses others . Tney wrote up a few for misconduct but another employee done the same thing and NOTHING was done .. two faced bunch of high school drama queens .
